About the EAC RFP Template Generator
The RFP Template Generator is a web tool that allows a user to create a basic Request for Proposal (RFP) template to procure certain election equipment. Based on a few inputs, the tool creates an RFP template that can be easily customized by an election office or purchasing department.
The tool relies on language from RFPs issued by election jurisdictions that have resulted in successful contracts.

To use the RFP Template Generator Web Tool
After launching the tool:

Follow the prompts to enter information about your jurisdiction

Select the type of equipment or technology you’d like to procure

Select sample language for each section (Background, Scope of Service, etc.)

Review and edit the RFP Template
The RFP Template Generator will create a customizable Microsoft Word document. Before using the template, ensure it meets your jurisdiction's procurement procedures and specific requirements. The template includes specific suggestions to guide your review.
